Hustle and Flow is one of several non-standard modular wall systems produced by TOPOCAST LAB and featured on the site. The project illustrates the use of CNC milled molds to develop a precisely choreographed assembly of components where one module exists in only one position within the system. The goal is to continue the consideration of iterative transformation across the ‘field’ of modules to communicate macro effect within the micro qualities of each individual module. (i.e. ripple, wave, pinch, swirl, fold, break, anomaly). More information on projects like this can be seen in the TEACHING section of the site.
